This Coast Guard building originally resided closer to shore. Once the Coast Guard declared it excess property, it was sold and moved to a private property off site. The building was bought and moved again to Whitefish Point in 1990. However for historical reasons, it was once again moved in 2001 to its current site. It now serves as a bed and breakfast.
