Carter Shields Cabin

I find the Carter Shields Cabin to be the most picturesque cabin in the Cades Cove loop. The cabin was built in the 1830s or 1840s but George Washington "Carter" Shields did not buy this property from John Sparks until 1910. He only lived here for 11 years. Great Smoky Mountains National Park, TN
